Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/38 of 10 January 2019 amending Annexes II and V to Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards maximum residue limits for iprodione in or on certain products was published on 11/01/19.
This Regulation follows the publication of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2091 of 14 November 2017 concerning the non-renewal of the approval of the active substance Iprodione.
Authorisations for plant protection products containing the active substance’Iprodione’ were to be withdrawn by 5 March 2018 and a grace period was set by 5 June 2018.
Due to its non-approval, MRLs for this substance should be set at the level of the limit of determination (LOD) in accordance with Article 18 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005. As a result, many products have their MRLs significantly lowered.
This regulation will be applicable as of July 31, 2019.
