Regulation (EU) No 2021/1531 has just been published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
It modifies the MRLs for aclonifen, acrinathrin, ethirimol, penthiopyrad and picloram.
The MRLs for aclonifen on fennel and caraway seeds are increased from 0.01 mg/kg to 0.03 mg/kg.
The MRL acrinathrin on lettuce was increased from 0.02 mg/kg to 0.1 mg/kg.
The MRL for ethirimol on cucumbers was increased from 0.05 mg/kg to 0.2 mg/kg.
The MRLs for penthiopyrad on celery stalk and fennel were increased from 15 mg/kg to 20 mg/kg.
The picloram MRLs on broccoli, cauliflower and other inflorescence-developing cabbages were increased from 0.01 mg/kg to 0.08 mg/kg.
These new MRLs are applicable from 10/10/2021 except for the MRL for ethirimol in cucumbers where the date of application is retroactively set to 17/05/2021.
