The European Commission has just published a new Regulation amending Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum residue levels for certain residues.
Regulation (EU) 2020/856 amends MRLs for residues of cyantraniliprole, cyazofamide, cyprodinil, fenpyroximate, fludioxonil, fluxapyroxad, imazalil, isofetamide, kresoxim-methyl, lufenuron, mandipropamide, propamocarb, pyraclostrobin, pyriofenone, pyriproxyfen and spinetoram in foodstuffs.
The MRLs for the following matrix/pesticide combinations were increased to align with the CODEX CXLs:
- Cyazofamide/vegetable bulb
- Cyantraniliprole/mangoes, cranberries
- Cyprodinil/grenade
- Fenpyroximate/Tomato
- Fludioxonil/rose, avocado, guava, bulb vegetables, soybean
- Fluxapyroxad/mangoes, papaya, coffee
- Isofetamide/seed fruits, stone fruits, bramble fruits, beans, peas
- Kresoxim-methyl/peaches, grapes, mangoes, cucurbits, barley, oats, buckwheat
- Lufenuron/orange, limes, pome fruits, coffee
- Mandipropamide/potatoes, beans
- Propamocarb/head cabbage
- Pyraclostrobin/Lawyer, Mango, Beans
- Pyriofenone/vat grapes, strawberry, bramble and berry fruits, cucurbits
- Pyriproxyfen/papaya, melons.
This regulation is applicable from 09/07/2020.
