Publication EU Regulation 2020/192 – Amendments to MRLs

Regulation (EU) 2020/192 amending Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 has been published in the OJEU.

This Regulation amends the MRLs for residues of prochloraz in food and the regulatory definition of this residue.

Article 2 states that MRLs prior to this Regulation apply in all products imported into the European Union before 4 September 2020 except citrus fruits, kiwifruit, bananas, mangoes, pineapples and bovine liver.

This regulation is applicable as of 04/09/20.

Be aware that Phytocontrol is able to analyse prochloraz and its metabolites according to the residue definition of Regulation (EU) No 2020/192 in food of plant origin.
