Regulation (EU) 2019/1582 amending Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 was published in the OJEU.
This Regulation modifies the MRL for residues of imazalil in foodstuffs.
MRLs have been lowered for grapefruit, oranges, tomatoes, courgettes and increased for strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, cucumbers and gherkins.
The other MRLs on the other matrices were set at the level of the specific limit of determination.
Article 2 specifies that MRLs prior to the publication of this Regulation shall continue to apply to foods produced in or imported into the EU before 16/04/20 except for grapefruit, oranges, apples, pears, medlars, bananas, potatoes and bovine liver.
This regulation is applicable as of 16/04/2020.
