OECD publishes report on pharmaceutical residues in water

The European Commission has just authorised 4 GMOs and renewed 4 authorisations :

• MZHG0JG maize, MON 89034 × 1507 × NK603 × DAS-40278-9 and 3 sub-combinations, MON 89034 × 1507 × MON 88017 × 59122 × DAS-40278-9 and 14 sub-combinations, Bt11 maize × MIR162 × MIR604 × 1507 × 5307 × GA21 and 34 sub-combinations.

These GMOs are intended for human consumption and animal feed.

• T45 oilseed rape, LLCotton25 cotton, MON 89788 soybean (RRS2) and A2704-12 soybean.

These 4 GMOs have had their authorisation renewed.

Authorisations are issued for ten years and any product coming from these GMOs will be subject to EU rules on labelling and traceability. The authorisations allow the consumption and not the cultivation of these GMOs.
