EC regulation no. 396/2005 has just been amended by 3 new regulations.
The MRLs for phosmet and the definition of residue have been amended.
For all products, the MRLs are set at the level of the limits of determination.
The current residue definition (Phosmet (phosmet and phosmet oxone, expressed as phosmet)) will be changed to "phosmet".
The regulation applies from 15/09/2023.
The MRL for folpet on lettuce has been raised from 0.3 mg/kg to 1.5 mg/kg.
The regulation applies from 19/06/2023.
Pendimethalin MRLs are increased for unshelled fresh beans (from 0.05 mg/kg to 0.06 mg/kg), unshelled fresh peas (0.05 mg/kg to 0.09 mg/kg), leeks (0.05 mg/kg to 0.3 mg/kg) and chicory root (0.05 mg/kg to 0.2 mg/kg).
The MRLs for spirotetramat have been modified for herbs and edible flowers.
They rise from 4 mg/kg to 7 mg/kg for chervil, chives, celery leaves, parsley, basil and edible flowers and tarragon.
They rise from 4 mg/kg to 10 mg/kg for sage, rosemary, thyme, bay leaves and other herbs and edible flowers.
The regulation applies from 20/06/2023.
