Phytocontrol combines the most advanced chromatographic and biotechnological analytical techniques, LC-MS/MS, PCR and Elisa.

We analyse all food allergens in European regulations.

An allergen is a substance capable of sensitising an organism and causing abnormal symptoms when reintroduced.

By combining the most advanced chromatographic and biotechnological analytical techniques (LC-MS/MS, real-time PCR, Elisa), Phytocontrol is able to measure all food allergens in European regulations. Enzymatic tests, colorimetry or the Monier-Williams method can also be used for certain allergens.
EU Regulation 828/2014 defines thresholds for products declared"gluten-free" (20 mg/kg) and products with"very low gluten content" (100 mg/kg).
