Regulation 2023/198 amending the MRLs for abamectin has just been published in the OJEU.
MRLs have been increased on avocados, watercress and other sprouts, land cress, rocket, young sprouts, beans and peas (without pods) and fennel.
MRLs have been lowered on quinces, medlars, beechnuts, strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, courgettes, lamb's lettuce, escarole, chervil, parsley, celery leaves, apples, pears, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, papayas and honey
Article 2 of the Regulation specifies that the former MRLs continue to apply to food produced in or imported into the Union before 20 August 2023 with the exception of apples, pears, strawberries, tomatoes, sweet peppers/sweet peppers, cucumbers, courgettes, lamb's lettuce/wheat salad, lettuce, escarole/broadleaf endive, chervil and parsley.
The regulation will be applicable on 20/08/23.
