Glyphosate is an active substance on the list of active ingredients approved in Europe since 1st July 2002 but it has been marketed in France since 1975. It is the most widely used pesticide in the world.
Regulation (EU) 396/2005 and its successive amendments set Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) in various foodstuffs.
