Thanks to its statecraft and its fame for the dosage of pesticides in the wine, PHYTOCONTROL was chosen to collaborate with the OIV (International Organization of Vine and Wine) for the implementation of a method relative to the analysis of the residues of pesticides in wines. The first stage consisted in a study of 19 compounds on 3 samples.
For this "ring test" the 3 proposed samples were: a red wine, a white wine and a port wine.
Thanks to a specific internal method, particularly precise and repeatable developed by the R&D department, Phytocontrol identified and quantified successfully the totality of 19 pesticides of the ring test.
The criteria of interpretation were those of the ISO 17043 standard.
