Determination of prohexadione content

 

PHYTOCONTROL is pleased to announce that its R & D has recently optimized a method to determine the content of Prohexadione in non-fatty plant.

The analysis is carried out by LC-MS (n) and enables to reach an LQ of 0.01mg/kg.

The Prohexadione is used as a plant growth regulator on cereals such as oats, wheat, barley and rye but also apple and pear.

LMRs are in the range of 0.05 mg/kg (oats, apple, pear) to 0.2 mg/kg (barley and wheat).
