PHYTOCONTROL is pleased to announce you that its R&D Department has recently developed a method for determining the content of Fosethyl and Phosphorous acid in all types of drinks, with or without alcohol.
The analysis is carried out by LC-MS (n) and achieves an LQ of 0.5mg/kg.
Phosphorous acid is a degradation product of Foséthyl Aluminium is used as a fungicide on a wide range of vegetables: Citrus, Pineapples, Strawberries, Lettuces, Pears, Apples, Tomatoes and Vines.
The Maximum Residue Limits set in Regulation 396/2005 concern the "Fosetyl-Al (sum fosetyl + phosphorous acid and its salts expressed as fosetyl)", research of this parameter in addition to foséthyl-Al is more relevant to regulation.
